Shaun Furtiere from Think Big Fishing Charters fished Western Port with his customers and landed some fantastic quality gummy sharks, a perfect feed for those on board.

CORINELLA

The winter reds are about. Denis Manners landed this cracker on Saturday while out for his birthday with his brothers. Great catch mate and awesome birthday pressie for sure!

SAN REMO

Andre Wui checked out San Remo jetty for a quick squid session and landed a couple of decent models before his dog decided it was time to go.

FLINDERS

Staff member Brendon Cunningham braved the cold on Saturday morning at Flinders Pier and was rewarded with a fantastic sized calamari on an Odori squid jig.

WEB DOCK

Mithat Buyuk with a solid 4.5kg snapper land based. Well done mate. This weather may not be favourable to us but it brings the snapper in close around the east side of PPB.

PATTERSON LAKES

Luke Scicluna hit Patterson Lakes for a quick session with the fly rod and landed 7 nice EP’s and 2 salmon.

PORTLAND

Daniel Zagami from Fish On Charters got stuck into some ripping tuna out from Portland with his customers before the big blow last week.

Rob and Dylan Mizzi from Sharkmen Fishing Charters fished out from Portland with their customers last week and found no shortage of school tuna for all on board.

Marco and Rambo from Reel Time Fishing Charters helped their customers form Marshall Batteries land this 106kg beast of a Portland tuna after a 2 hour fight.

LAKE BOLAC

Glen Zutt landed this fantastic rainbow trout fishing Lake Bolac last Friday.

GOULBURN RIVER

Jarrod Biles, Dean Barnett and Luke Biles fished the Goulburn and landed some cracking brown and rainbow trout. It looks like the cold snap and river flow has these beasts on the chew and it’s nice to see last years ex-broods are still about.

EILDON PONDAGE

Matt Tormey has been slaying the trout at Eildon Pondage lately landing 3 crackers on first light this week with the biggest going 11lb and 9lb, well done mate!

YARRA VALLEY

Ryan Lloyd caught a nice brown trout fishing the Yarra River in the Yarra Valley region on a Rapala lure.

DEVILBEND RESERVOIR

Peter Richie hit Devilbend Reservoir on Saturday morning landing a couple of EP’s to 40cm keeping the largest as well as a feed of redfin; the best lure on the day was a Rapala Countdown 7 in rainbow trout pattern.

MITTA MITTA RIVER

Cindy Rapsey landed 3 browns and 3 rainbows while fishing the Mitta Mitta River last week using hard body lures.
