Congratulations to Jarrod Williams who caught this fantastic 141.5kg southern bluefin tuna aboard Reel Time Fishing Charters out from Portland on Monday.

Paul, Cristy, Jet and the IFISH crew traveled out to the Kimberley at Horizontal Falls last week. The crew enjoyed catching barramundi, saddle tail snapper (large mouth nannygai), golden snapper and massive mangrove jacks. Fishing the Horizontal Falls the team got smoked by huge dhufish and caught coral trout on soft plastics. Some epic adventures coming to IFISH later this year.
TYABB BANK

Some good size calamari are hovering on the Tyabb Bank when weather permits you to get out there. Use size 3.5 jigs as there are some big models and a few cuttlefish around at the moment.
MIDDLE SPIT

The top end of the spit is producing good numbers of King George whiting, as some anglers are discovering now the water is cooling off. Pipi and squid cocktails have accounted for most fish.
BUOY 6

Kozzy and Huff headed out around Buoy 6 in the Western Entrance on Monday looking for gummies. While they didn’t come home with a gummy, these two monster Cuttlefish took mackerel baits down deep giving the boys a delicious feed to take home.

PORT MELBOURNE
Frank Cakici fished Webb Dock in Port Melbourne on Sunday and caught this cracking snapper on sunset.
MORNINGTON

Julian Rennie and his daughter Taylor headed out from Mornington on Sunday morning and bagged 15 squid in 30mins. Even with the weather we’ve had the squid are still fishing really well.
MUD ISLAND

Mark Gray headed out on a solo session to Mud Island on Wednesday and managed this gorgeous gummy in 7m of water on a fresh yakka chunk. Well done mate!
PINNACE CHANNEL

Michael Farrelly fished the Pinnace Channel and brought home a ripper feed of flatties for the table.

PATTERSON RIVER
