
Congratulations to Logan Vessey on his marvelous mulloway of 76cm, a ripper catch for Catch of the Week.



On Wednesday Cristy, Paul and Jet Worsteling launched from Martha Cove and headed across Port Phillip Bay towards St Leonards and around Mud Island. They caught a bag of beautiful whiting between them with the best fish being 35cm as well as some lovely blue spot flathead to 55cm and some nice sized leather jackets. Paternoster rigs were the go and they were fishing in around 4 metres of water with pipis and strips of California squid as bait on size 6 hooks. The new Tumbler Scaler bag made light work of the slime and scales of their bag of whiting ready for filleting once they got home.







Shaun Furtiere from Think Big Fishing Charters has had a number of ripper sessions on Western Port over the past week with some cracking snapper and gummies landed as well as some fantastic numbers of whiting brought aboard for his customers.
STONY POINT

Kurtis Campbell fished the Stony Point pier this week and managed some beautiful sized calamari.
ESSO

Burak, Bulent and Sadik Cagdas fished out from Esso in 18 metres and landed some ripper snapper just after the tide change.
MIDDLE SPIT

Lincoln Phillips took the advice of Steve from our Mornington store and turned it into a cracking double bag of King George whiting fishing the Middle Spit with a mate.

Michael Woods fished with the family at Middle Spit this week and landed a fantastic bag of whiting using squid and pipi cocktail for bait.
JOE'S ISLAND

Duane Hill had a ripper session fishing with the family around Joe’s Island in 8 metres with some monster whiting landed, the biggest going 44cm.
THE CORALS

Sam Moulday landed a monster gummy of 9kg while fishing at the Corals on Sunday, the gummy took fresh yakka strip.


Gerry Morsman fished the Corals last week and landed a nice snapper and gummy during the last of the run out tide using squid strips for bait.
CLEELAND BIGHT

Terry Chinnock fished Cleeland Bight last week and landed this beautiful 70cm flathead.
RHYLL

Gavin Hocking worked on his tan while fishing out from Rhyll last week and landed some fantastic snapper in 14 metres on salmon fillets.

Julian Rennie and Aiden Duke fished out from Rhyll in 10 metres and landed a ripper bag of whiting using pipis for bait.
SILVERLEAVES

Steve De George had a crazy 15 minute session at Silverleaves fishing with a mate landing some cracking snapper in 12 metres on pilchards.

Chris Preston fished with Eddy chasing some snapper at Corinella before heading to Silverleaves for some nice gummies in 14 metres.
COWES

10yr old twins, Georgia and Sienna landed a beautiful gummy shark fishing out from Cowes last week.
FLINDERS

John Moore fished out from Flinders this week and managed a nice gummy for his troubles; John also dropped a nice school shark next to the boat and also hooked a couple of 7 gillers.

Daniel Zagami from Fish On Charters headed out on a social fishing session with some mates this week and found some fantastic snapper.

Miles Attard fished out from Black Rock this week and landed a beautiful snapper of 58cm.

Jayson Turner from Pro Red Fishing Charters has had some cracking sessions out from Carrum over the past week landing some fantastic numbers of snapper as well as a few rippers with his customers always taking home a feed.

Danny Brett landed a nice 45cm flathead using chicken for bait fishing the Patterson River.

Mark Otten fished with his uncle Marinus and together they fished out from Seaford landing 3 snapper to 6.5kg on silver whiting.

Jovan Pageot fished in 17 metres of water off Frankston last week for some beautiful snapper caught on silver whiting.

James Matarazzo fished out from Mt Eliza on the weekend and had a cracking session landing some beautiful snapper on sauries and pilchards.

Young Logan Vessey fished with his dad Steve at the Werribee break wall chasing flatties but managed this cracker of a mulloway at 76cm using a 5” Zman Jerk Shad in white, well done champ!

Scotty fished at Werribee this week and managed to land some cracking flatties.

3 year old Arlow caught a fantastic flathead of 53cm fishing the breakwall at Wyndham Harbour, Werribee.

Oscar Adorno fished out from Port Fairy last week with a mate and they managed a couple of cracking kings.

Michael Lane landed a ripper metre Murray cod fishing surface from his kayak.

Gary Van Leuverden managed to land his PB 76cm cod fishing at Lake Eildon last week.
TEMPLESTOWE

Tony Hodgson landed a beautiful 57cm Murray cod fishing the Yarra at Templestowe this week.
DEVILBEND RESERVOIR

Staff members Harry Bould and Mitch Ryland had a quick flick after work at Devilbend Reservoir on Sunday with the boys landing 11 estuary perch with 10 of the fish landed by Mitch and the best lures were Zman Slim SwimZ in 2.5” size.
LATROBE RIVER

Staff member Harry Bould fished the Latrobe River with his mate Kyle Tipple and the boys landed 9 beautiful trout with countless more follows. The boys found Jackson Trout Tune and Presso Minnows to be successful lures on the day.
CORNER INLET

Dave McDonald and Dayne Tracey fished at Corner Inlet this week and managed 4 fantastic snapper to 6kg. Most of the action happened towards the end of the run in tide and they fished in 12 metres of water.

Billy Chio and Nathan Barling landed some beautiful snapper to 8kg fishing at Port Welshpool last week.
BEMM RIVER

Staff member Leigh Sant fished the Bemm River and reports good numbers of dusky flathead with most fish landed using 100mm Squidgies Fish in black and gold on 1/8 3/0 jig heads cast into the weed beds.
LAKE MALWALA

Breno landed this beautiful Murray cod fishing Lake Mulwala, the fish took banana prawn and came in at 58cm.
TOCUMWAL, NSW

Young Kobie Jackson landed a nice cod fishing at Tocumwal, his fish took a chunk of cabana.
PORT DOUGLAS, QLD

Michelle Wheatley landed a beautiful mangrove jack fished at Dickson Inlet, Port Douglas using prawn for bait.
