Paul Worsteling's Tackleworld Cranbourne opened in August 1988. At that stage I was 15 and worked part time in the store. I used to ride my BMX to work to earn a bit of pocket money to support my habit! Fishing that is. When I was 22 years old I bought the business and still actively work at the store and run it with a hands on approach today. Over the last 20 years we have grown into one of the best tackle stores in the country helped along by my media exposure on Rex Hunt's Fishing Adventures and IFISH, and of course the buying power and exposure of Tackleworld. We may be big in size, but we continue to excel because of our old fashion service and values. We try to treat every customer like they are our only customer, and strive to do all in our power to see them achieve their goal of catching a fish.
Our specialty is Western port and port Phillip Bay but our staff have fished almost all of Australia and a lot of the world and racked up almost every species of fish that I can think of between them. So regardless of where you are heading, or what species you intend to target, we can give you GREAT advice based on REAL experiences.
